Updates - 03 November 2005

Postby Boredflak on Thu Nov 03, 2005 10:24 am

I've finished up the variant adventuring rules (open content from Unearthed Arcana) with the addition of:

- Hex Grid
- Variable Modifiers
- Bell Curve Rolls
- Players Roll All The Dice

I've also fixed a number of reported bugs.

As always, proofreading and error checking is greatly appreciated!

Inconsistent Hex Grid

Postby Guest on Thu Nov 03, 2005 4:15 pm

The "Small and Medium" facing diagram is incorrect. Specifically, it's asymetric, as the left flank area extends into (going by the right flank area) the rear area.

The flank areas were correct, but my arrow and "front" label was a little off.

It's fixed now. Thanks!

Not related to your recent updates, but on http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/adven ... ersion.htm there is a typo. Last sentence of the first paragraph. 'subding' instead of 'subduing'.

UA Magic variants

Postby madwabbit on Sat Nov 05, 2005 7:02 pm

Just curious -- was everything in Unearthed Arcana declared OGL? If so, are you planning on transcribing all of the magic rules variants in as well?

Thanks,
Tom

Hmm, I noticed nothing wrong.

Are you planning on adding the OGC content from dragon magazines. There were a couple of articles there IIRC.

:D

Don't know if this is an old or new error, but there's a typo/extra words on the Encounter Calculator:
9. This is how many encounters of a of the indicated difficulty an adventure should have.

Presumably, "of a" should be dropped.

Ooh, ooh! and Taint? If so, will it feature the Heroes of Horror version or the UA version?

Is the Heroes of Horror version Open Game Content? Probably not...

I figured it's not OGL, but I keep forgetting to check.

(That was me that posted as "Guest;" the forum didn't remember my login).

Edit: Nope, not OGL. :(
